Hotel Bartoš is a family hotel with more than 30 years of tradition. The building, which originally served as a hostel, has undergone a complete transformation under the leadership of the Bartoš family - since 1992, a modern and cozy hotel has been gradually created, combining a personal approach, quality service and the peaceful environment of the Beskydy Mountains. Thanks to extensive reconstruction and the opening of a wellness centre, it has become a popular place for relaxation, sports and business meetings.

About us
Our history
Thirty years of tradition and continuous development of our family hotel.

Building
The building is being constructed as a hostel for sportsmen and visitors to the recreational area below Horečky. Simple architecture, basic equipment and high capacity corresponded to the needs of the area and its use at that time.

Common room
The hostel is fully operational and offers simple, purpose-built facilities. The rooms and the restaurant have modest furnishings in keeping with the facilities, sports facilities and recreational stays of the guests at the time.

Room
The interior of the hostel corresponds to the style of the 1970s. The rooms have simple furniture, a practical layout and modest furnishings that suit the sports and recreational stays of the guests at that time. The rooms do not have private bathroom facilities.

Bar
At this time, a simple bar is being built for athletes, tourists and visitors to the area. The interior corresponds to the style of the 70s: practical equipment, modest decoration and informal atmosphere for guests.

Buying a hotel at auction
The Bartoš family buys the building in a public auction and a new era of the hotel industry in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm begins. The hostel becomes a family hotel, aiming for modernisation, growth and a quiet Beskydy atmosphere of the place.

Reopening of the hotel
After a short time - two months - the hotel was reopened to the public after basic cleaning and renovation. The Bartos family is gradually investing in repairs, development of services and the restaurant for guests.

Restaurant
The hotel's restaurant takes on a typical 1990s look, with bright tiles, colourful textiles and classic dining. It serves both guests and the public and becomes the centre of the social scene here.

Bar
The bar is undergoing modernisation and acquiring new facilities. It offers an informal seating area and matches the period style with typical colours and simple, practical furnishings for the guests of the time.

Room
The rooms have been modernized in the spirit of the furnishings corresponding to the 90s and the financial possibilities of the owners. The furniture, textiles and colour scheme reflect the functional character of the accommodation and facilities for recreational and sports guests.

Modernisation of the building
The hotel was gradually changing its face. A new roof, boiler room and balconies were built and the floors and rooms were renovated, which improved the comfort of guests and visitors. The hotel is also visited by famous and popular personalities.

Restaurant
The restaurant is being modernised and given a more distinctive look with warm colours and a new table layout. A cosy space for celebrations, corporate events and everyday dining for guests is being created here.

Latest reconstruction
The most extensive renovation in the hotel's history begins. A new floor is being added, the façade is being modernised and space is being created for a future hall. This phase fundamentally changes the appearance and capacity of the building. The hotel has been open throughout the renovation.

Ongoing reconstruction
In 2014, the largest construction works began - the eastern, southern and western extensions. The new attic and roof section was completed this year. The roof covering is of coloured corrugated aluminium sheet.

Hall
The extension includes a new multifunctional hall for weddings, conferences and corporate events. The modern space significantly expands the hotel's range of services and forms an important element of the hotel's comprehensive services.

Construction of a wellness centre
The construction of a wellness centre with modern technologies from leading Czech manufacturers is underway. Wellness is becoming a desirable addition to the hotel's accommodation services and contributes to increased comfort and relaxation.

Completion of the reconstruction
Renovations are being finalized and new facilities are opening, including a restaurant, ballroom and wellness area. The hotel is now fully operational and entering a new phase of services. At the end of a challenging renovation, we have been officially certified as a 4* hotel.

Building charging stations
In 2023, four modern charging points for electric vehicles were built at the hotel. The new stations enhance guest comfort, promote sustainable transport and reinforce the hotel's focus on modern and environmentally friendly services.

Kitchen modernisation
In 2024, the HVAC kitchen is being upgraded to include a new stainless steel ceiling with powerful exhaust. The modification improves working conditions, operational efficiency and the overall quality of the kitchen facilities.

New website
In 2025 we will launch a new modern website and online booking system. We are improving service availability, speeding up the booking process and providing guests with clearer, more convenient and intuitive options for planning their stay.
